Marina had just gotten off work and was on her way home with a basket full of turnips and other food, gnome tucked under one arm when something caught her eye.
She peered around the corner at the short youki, curious. To her, Hiei, seemed like one big gnome, she did not know about demons so a big smile appeared on her face.
"Awww aren't you so cute!" the girl gushed as she skipped up to Hiei, the bells in her hair jingling loudly.

The fire koorime who had been walking slowly when the jingling of bells interrupted his somewhat serene thoughts. The voice shrill echoed through his ears as the youkai inwardly winced at the sound of it. His ruby hues turned around and looked behind him to see a girl coming towards him, the bells jingling and making him annoyed even more by the second that it rang, seeing that the girl was just some human, it would serve no purpose to continue to stay here, but then the words that she uttered made him twitch. He was far from being cute. It was kind of insulting to the youkai.

She reached out to ruffle his hair before shifting her bag in her arm, giggling.
"Are you lost, little guy?" she asked, giving him a big smile. Either she didn't notice his irritation or she just ignored it.
"You can come with me, Mirt Jr would love the company of another gnome...no matter how big!" the girl smiled cheerfully.

He was lost, but the youkai hardly wanted to admit, especially to this type of person. His red hues stared back at the girl in a dull manner, obviously not amused with her, and what she asked, as well as offering him to tag along with this human... A gnome? It was one of those stupid human things that stood in the lawn with the pointy hats, and she did not just compared him to one, or supposedly, this woman seriously said he was a gome... The fire koorime was not amused.

"I'm not a gnome...human, and I am not lost."

Kurama was standing next to the clocktower just as they had agreed. His serene emerald gaze staring ahead. Even if the calm bathed his mien, his senses were at the zenith of awareness, in any moment a creature could attempt to attack him, specially now that his powers were gone.

Though he kept a small blade hidden under his sleeve. A sharpened piece of metal he had found next to the sewers.

The fire koorime said nothing. He did not reply to her comment at all, only walked behind the girl silently. Just, sometimes, he wondered why Kurama ended up with such strange companions, strangers or not, it was rather annoying that he had to follow this woman, who talked more than she could breathe, probably.

The boy crossed his arms across his chest as he walked along the empty nothingness. He hardly had any idea where the clock tower was considering one, he was without abilities, and his Jagan was quite useless at the moment, and two, he didn't know his way around, as easily as he should have.

Upon reaching the clock tower, the turnip girl looked around, shifting the basket in her arms. It was not long before she spotted the redhead and she grinned and waved before skipping right over in a loud jingle of bells, a cheerful smile on her face and Mirt Jr in her arms.

"You must be Kurama! I'm Marina! and this is Mirt Jr of cours!" she pointed to the gnome in her arms with a smile. "I hope you have not been waiting long! I met a new friend along the way, he is so cute and small! Like a gnome!" she giggled, obviously she had disregarded Hiei's claim that he was not a gnome.

Kurama looked over his shoulder and offered the oncoming duo a soft smile. "Good evening, Marina-san, Hiei." He replied bowing his head before looking up. "No, I arrived not too long ago.

Seems Hiei found you before I did, well.. he is the acquaintance I mentioned."

He smiled in return, taking a step into the room, picking the bed which looked more suitable for him. His gaze then shifted to Hiei "We do not know for how log we will be bound to this realm... but we must learn to survive until we have atoned for our sins."

The smaller youkai had been looking around as well. Seeing the girl had said something about food, though he hardly needed human food to keep his strength up. The fire koorime decided to stay silent for now, but he picked up the words of his companion easily.

"Don't tell me things that I am already aware of," he stated bluntly, knowing that it was true what the other had said.

"That's fine, I will be downstairs if you guys need me!" Marina smiled cheerfully. "And dinner will be done in a bit!"
