Kid A is using his iron lung to learn how to disappear completely, if he's lucky. There, there everything's in its right place, so there's no need to call the karma police.
if you cant tell already this is
radiohead related material. this is because peter smith joined me in viewing them at the Bank of America Pavilion(formerly the Fleet Boston Pavilion) in Boston (duh!) tonight. amazing show i must say, but this is to be expected. the main focus of this tiny tour of theirs (8 cities in the U.S., 2 shows a piece) was to test out some new material. they played 8 new songs and a little new segue/instrumental piece. the set list is as follows:
01 There There
02 2+2=5
03 Lucky
04 15 Step
05 Arpeggi
06 Kid A
07 Dollars And Cents
08 The National Anthem
09 Nude
10 Videotape
11 Paranoid Android
12 Spooks (segue thingy)
13 The Gloaming
14 House of Cards
15 Idioteque
16 Bangers 'N Mash
17 How To Disappear Completely
Encore 1:
18 Airbag
19 Street Spirit
20 Bodysnatchers
21 Everything In Its Right Place
Encore 2:
22. 4 Minute Warning
23. My Iron Lung
24. Karma Police
if you have never had the chance to see radiohead (and you happen to like them), you must take the money / time / effort to check them out. they put on an outstanding show and make it a lot of fun to watch. i am looking forward to the new record, since the new material was excellent!
