10th wedding anniversary
I'm a bit delayed in posting this, but we've been gone camping for the weekend with no internet access during our 10th wedding anniversary.
Honestly, I can't believe it's been 10 years already. I've been working on this "Ode to our Marriage" for a while on a whim and wanted to post it here. I'll show it to Jake and he'll be disgusted by the mushiness.
Our Marriage:
10 years together
9 hour car trips from MI to NY, too many to count
8 jobs (6 Jake's, 2 mine)
7 vacations to different states (MI, NM, NY, NH, RI, MA, VT)
6 races run from 5K to 18.12 Challenge
5 addresses (400 Kellogg, 430 Deign, 14 Parkwood, 63 Oakwood, 354 New Salem)
4 cars (Civic, Escape, Sonata, CX-9)
3 perfect children (Benjamin, Leo, James)
2 graduate degrees (M.M.Ed. and Ph.D.)
1 fur baby (Olive)
