Here's the limited fare our garden has provided so far this year.
Homegrown lettuce with some cherry tomatoes and feta cheese. It was super yummy!
We spent all morning cleaning inside, so we're thinking of going to get some seedling plants this afternoon and working on the exterior of the house. I can't wait to fill my garden with lovely delicious plants! On the menu for tonight: chicken with figs and gnocchi in sage-butter sauce (the sage is also homegrown).
Here's some other recent photos of my favorite stinker pot:
He thought the cupcake on his birthday was for playing with, not eating. It was a huge, chocolate-crumb mess!
Jake and I got him this wooden activity center for his birthday gift. There's one similar at daycare and he apparently loves to play with it.
I had a toy with the wire loops and beads when I was little, so I was happy that this activity cube had that part on top!
Here, Ben is composing his first xylophone piece. There's also an abacus (who uses those anymore?) a pegboard maze, and a blackboard. The top comes off so we can store books or stuffed animals inside.
Showing off at Erica's going away party.
My cutie pie.
