Happy Christmas!
We had a great day, made more special because of the chance to see it through Ben's eyes. I can't wait until he's older and gets excited for it, like our nephew Jack does.
We were all running on days of very little sleep because of Ben's cold, my ear infection, and just general being-around-people-all-day, so I got a little cranky last night. Apparently once everyone left Ben could sleep because we slept very soundly and deeply last night.
Then we nursed this morning, he had a coughing fit, and vomited all over me. Time for laundry!
Heading to my grandparent's Christmas this afternoon to see all my cousins. We'll hang out there all afternoon, then drive back up to Carthage to spend time with Jake's cousins. We've got Julia's 1st birthday party on Sunday and then will spend the next week coordinating visits with friends and spending quality relaxing time with families.
Oh, and I have to make the presentation for my committee meeting that's on Jan 7th. Good thing grandmothers don't mind holding the baby! :-)
