We finally got a non-blurry picture of Jack holding Ben on our latest trip to NY.
I think they're going to be good friends.
Jake and Aunt Cheryl
Ben fell asleep after nursing. He stayed in my arms, fast asleep, for about 30 minutes before we finally moved him to the co-sleeper.
Yesterday was a sad day. We finally set up the yellow room as Ben's nursery.
It involved a lot of furniture re-arranging and this is the new setup.
A better photo of the setup on the left wall.
He slept in the crib last night, but it was cold in that room and unfamiliar, so he woke up twice. After the 2nd wakeup, I brought him back to our room to nurse him and he ended the night in bed with us. Jake and I decided to compromise on the sleeping situation where Ben will start the night in the nursery but come into our room after his mid-night feeding. Eventually as he sleeps longer and longer through the night, he'll spend more time in the nursery and I'll get up to feed him and then get ready for the day. My baby is getting so big!
From this morning. We hadn't even changed out of pajamas yet
His eyes: they are a changin'
Mama's dominant genes rule!
Ben's best friend: the snail hanging above his vibrating chair.
Somehow I feel a little slighted that he loves this plastic thing almost as much as he loves his mama and daddy
I wish we could get a good video of how his face lights up when he sees this snail: it's too cute.
