Generosity
Yesterday, one of Jake's co-workers dropped by and unloaded 4 full garbage bags of infant clothing (from newborn to 12 months), a Graco car seat with 2 bases that go into each car, a play area, and a bouncy chair for newborns.
If we have a boy, we are ALL SET.
The kindness of this woman just overwhelms me. Jake has only been working at CSA since August and she just GAVE this stuff to us. She refuses to even entertain the notion of us paying her for anything or giving her anything to help make up the cost. She tells us that 'this is only round 1!'
Her youngest is almost 2, and he came into the living room where all the bags were dropped and started crawling over everything, announcing 'Mine!'. The car seat: 'Mine!' The baby play thingy: 'Mine!' Some of the clothes he recognized: 'Mine!'
Too cute.
