Pansy didn't feel that finding a job would be too urgent, as luckily her family didn't lose too much after the war. Her parents didn't push her too much, and mostly praised her for finishing her 7th year with a few good marks. About 8 months after finishing school Pansy was in the store shopping, minding her own business and actually not yelling at the staff, when she spotted a dainty looking lady having an altercation with one of the smaller, squeakier sales girls. She'd personally had her run-ins with Yolanda before, and feeling particularly giving today, she decided to stick her nose in where it didn't belong and help.
Lucky for Pansy, the wife of the Minister was the dainty looking lady, and Pansy's well placed insults and goading put Yolanda in her place (well, at least the Mrs. thought so) and after introducing herself, the two women decided to go out for a coffee. They got to talking, and she immediately asked Pansy to join the staff as a consultant. She met the family two days later, and convinced by his wife's overwhelming dedication to Pansy, decided to hire her full-time helping the two of them with their daily tasks. After handling that shopping nightmare, and clearly demonstrating her ability to manage, Pansy landed herself the title of Assistant to the Minister.
Leave it to Pansy to become the official Pitbull of the Minister of Magic.
