ugh. ucf has a group that is affiliated with nra called the Knights Rifle Association on campus and they're doing an "Empty Holster Protest" because they want legislative that would allow people with a concealed license to be able to carry a gun on campus. that's like the worst thing ever if people are allowed to carry guns on campus. i mean, how will you be able to tell apart the people with concealed license and just crazy people with guns on campus.?!?
oh yeah. the best part of it is that they're passing out water guns to promate their cause on the 10 year anniversary of columbine high school massacre. wtf? seriously, guys?!?
oh yeah, i went over there and asked them if they knew that today was the anniversary and they said that they did. their reason is that 1) columbine was a high school shooting and 2) if they teachers were allowed there would be less casualties. which i disagree because we can't really tell what would've happen if teachers are allow to carry guns.
