I'm never able to tell if poetry is angsty or soul searchingly wistful, and if I should shake you for your lunch money over it.

I think poetry tends to bring out angst, admittedly.

But then, I'm just a nostalgic old/young man.

Ah. So I should be punching and shaking poets for their money, then.

Nostalgic for?

I would have thought you'd give up on that sort of thing from being a housewife.

DA, in an odd way. People who've long since left. Different things.

Urges for the most part, never entirely go away.

So go back to school, maybe as a teacher? Idk.

Like your worrying love for explosions.

Eh, maybe. I'm not sure I'd really be suited for a teaching job... and that wouldn't really help so much with being nostalgic.

Explosions are what make life worth living.

So go be a kid for a few days?

...while I disagree, that's all fine and dandy so long as they're appropriately placed. Namely, not near anything you don't want destroyed.

I don't really want to be a kid, love.

Essentially, yeah, but still. Pyrotechnics are awesome.

... So what do you want? Go in wearing a uniform with stubble on your chin?

Fair enough. Just. Not inside the house, et al.

I'm just nostalgic, it's not a mid-life crisis, gawd. ... At least, not that kind.

Outside with benefits?

... You sure?

I. Think so, yes? Not sure what to make of 'with benefits' there.

Yes.

With benefits.

... hm.

What benefits?

...what're you thinking?

Benefits shaped like themselves.

Things that are stuff.

...you're being disturbingly vague on all fronts, love.
