It's not like I'm going to poke and prod you... or even ask you to take your clothes off and turn your head and cough. Fully clothed, a half hour of your time, you walk right out. It's not much to ask.

Well, I have to get SOMETHING for my troubles, don't I? If I just handed out rings that let you control your powers without any questions, you'd be pretty suspicious of them, wouldn't you?

I couldn't stand corporate structure. It'd take just one douche trying to throw their middle-management weight around and I'd have all sorts of restraining orders on me. Or worse.

Really, think of a time when your abilities caused problems for you, or that you weren't able to use them like you wanted or needed to do. Imagine a ring that'd let you fix that. Wouldn't it be worth a little hassle to get? Hell, it'd be worth a lot more than that, I think, but still.

Not a fan of people lording over others. Especially humans trying to lord over me.

... Actually, my abilities tend to be pretty under control, at this point. The only thing I'd really want is, I dunno. More control over the form of the wind. To make it more blunt or cutting.

I could probably do that. One thing I like to do is to add a metaphorical capacitor that could let you 'charge' energy, and release it all at once. Also, Samasu abilities seem tied to emotions, and I try to give a bit more control there, as well.
