He only thought he won....
Dan and I had another conflict recently... I went up to Jeff's store to pick up a few deposit bags when Dan walked into the backroom. He greeted me nicely but I was still sour from our last encounter. So I told Dan that I didnt care about anything he had to say at that moment. Before I knew it, he pushed me with all his strength. He pushed me so hard that my feet flew off the ground and luckily I landed in a chair. Now Dan probably weighs around 280 pounds so it doesnt take much to push me but still...
Then he starts to cuss at me and orders me out of the store. Well I did something that he didnt except. I stood up to him.... then the bastard had it in him to call Mall Security and had them escort me out...... right after he pushed me....
By the time I got to my car, I had decided that I was going to end his career... he started a war that he couldnt win....
I thought about calling his manager, I thought about calling the district manager, and I even though about calling the regional director... but I wanted to put him away for good. I wanted to make sure that he didnt stand a chance of ever getting back into the company. I wanted to make it so that he couldnt even use us as a reference. There are two people that can fire you without a word or reason. Loss Prevention and Employee Relations.... Interesting enough I met the director of Employee Relationships during my trip to Dallas.... so I made a personal phone call to her.
Dan did the rest for me. She heard my side of the story and I made it sound good... I gave lots of details and I could tell that it was starting to upset her just hearing what happened. She asked for a statement and after that, she called Dan to see his side of the story. Poor Dan thought when Nicole called from Employee Relations that she was just some low level operator... nope... not so much. Dan unknowingly cussed out and hanged up on the Director of Employee Relations. That did wonders for him there.
I made him sound so much like a "hot head" that they had the police departmet escort him out... Dan is no longer employeed with us.
I win. Owned.
