Abilities: Sookie is a telepath; although she tries hard not to, she can read other people's minds. She is a little stronger with sharper senses than the average human, due to all her vampire blood consumption. She also has some ~mysterious powers~ in the form of crazy light shooting out of her hands at the end of the last season, although we haven't figured out why or what they are yet in the TV series (in the books, she's part fairy; I'm sure we'll get to that soon). For this reason supernatural creatures like vampires and werewolves tend to be fascinated by her-- they realize that she's different.
Notes for the Psychics: Sookie had a traumatic childhood-- her powers isolated her from other people, and she was sexually abused by her uncle. Her grandmother was also recently killed. These things will be on her mind, as well as concern for her vampire Bill and her friends and stupid brother back home. Since she is a telepath herself, she will probably be able to feel you probing her mind though. And then she will be pleased to meet someone else like her! Be prepared for squee.

Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Sure. It's what she's there for? No?
Maim/Murder/Death: Errrr. Charlaine Harris has said she has a competition going with another author going to see what the worst thing is they can do to their heroines. She has been maimed plenty. But in camp, I would prefer it if you talk to me.
