To study, or not to study, that was always Ben's question. It was a miracle he had even decided to pick up a book on this fine October evening, but he had, and someone was making him regret his choice ( Read more... )

Meh, why not. I'm replying to pretty much all your other charries, lol draco_isgod October 16 2007, 04:58:02 UTC
"'Bout time you addressed me," Draco said a bit sarcastically.

He had watched his Chaser enter the room some time ago-he thought the nudging might have given him a hint. Apparently not.

Perhaps he was running his team too hard.. but then again.. he didn't really care too much about that.

Ben let out a short laugh. "Nothing like Draco Malfoy to piss a fellow off," he shook his head, obviously not truly annoyed with Malfoy. "Well? What did you want?" A small smirk began to play upon his lips.

Draco raised an eyebrow at first, then grinned once he approved of the light humor Ben was using with him. It beat Goyle's foul attempts any day.

"Nothing in particular-you are the one who invaded my space, after all," he said keeping with the joking tone.

He rearranged himself so that his feet were up on the small table in front of them and his hands tucked behind his neck-obviously entirely comfortable.

"So bored you're reduced to studying, hm?"

"It's come down to this," he nodded solemnly. Then his tone changed. "Nah, Mrs. Harper got an owl about my last grade." Ben grimaced. "Not up to standards."

Draco nodded. He wouldn't know much about not doing well. Except for Care of Magical Creatures back in third year, he had always done exceptionally well in just about everything.

"Don't let it bring down your game," he warned, "If you think practice is bad now-it will be worse if we lose."

He'd run them to the ground if it secured a victory.

That reminded him.. he still had to let Harper know about their idea for a memorial for Crabbe..
