Long Game
Hey, here comes post number two.
Saturday was quite a full day, with Karate and Theatre, a Dance Party after and a HALO 2 party after that. For those of you unfamiliar with the concept of HALO 2 parties, I'll explain. X-boxes can be linked together so that people can play a single came together from multiple rooms. rather than having a maximum of 4 players going, you can have up to 12 or 16. I played late that night and introduced my Friend Howie to the party for the first time.
As with all games, this one had it's ups and downs. At times I was turning other players into corpses, at other times, I was nothing but cannon fodder. I think I lost more matches than I won last night, but the final round, in teamplay, this one guy and I wiped the floor with everybody. It was very cool.
Today, my sis and I took my father to the A's game as a belated fathers day gift, the first time we tried to do it, the schedule fell through. The game had a 1:05 start, I was expecting to be heading back to the BART station by 3:30. Things didn't turn out that way, the A's were behind for the first 9 innings, then they tied the game in the bottom of the 9th. The game lasted until the 14th, yes the 14th inning when Bobby Kielty hit a solo home run.
The game was fun, unfortunately, My arms and face were sunburned pretty good, I just put 4th or 5th dose of aloe cream on the burns. My cheeks are already pretty red without the burns, I hope they go away quick.
