Nobody saw it coming
Friday I saw that other doc, DR.L and he was good in the fact that he actually listened to what I said and responded accordinly. Which was a good start but unfortunatly he couldnt see anything that DR.G had but did suggest that I try a brace which is not really something I want to do at all. I disscussed that my main reason is that I think it might hinder my walking and not help it. He understood and said that that is a very good concern. Plus I just hated the thought of anything trying to change the way I moved. He to listened to this and then said that it might not work at all but the reason he was thinking of it was because my knee was moving from side to side as well as front to back and because of my breaks to the area that it has loosened up what muscle I do have to help control it. And the brace would help stop it from moving on me when I do not want it to. So he said what if there were a trial one we could try would I then give it a shot. I said that at this point I was just about willing to try anything as long as I'm not stuck in it. He said ok and got on the phone himself and talked to the guy who makes the braces himself which is a huge rarity for a doctor to do these days. He explained the situation to the man and how it very likely may not work and does not want to put me into a made brace right away and said we needed a trail thing. They talked for a few more minutes on it then said ok that sounds good. Told me that they could figure out a trial thing for me and to make an appt. with them. So that's next monday. These appts are getting kind of old, yes I want to try these things in order to get rid of the pain but I hate going to them.
But tomorrow I'm excited because I'm getting my hair done by Angie and her birthday is on monday so I got her some gifts and am taking them to her tomorrow. I know she'll be all excited. And I know she'll like what I got her too! Yay. Plus I also get to have my overwhelming girlie gossip session that I can only stand when I'm getting my hair done. It must be the Dye smell that makes it ok? lol I don't know.
Ok, my glass of the best tasting beer EVER, which is Framboise Lambic (a Raspberry Belgian beer) is done and before I'm tempted to pour more I'm going to just go to bed early cause I think I could actually sleep now. God the smell alone is great of the beer. Ok really going now.
