[my boyfriend is just so freaking awesome.]
i had the best holiday ever. i got to spend time with the most important people in my life and that is something i am truly thankful for. this whole weekend went by so smoothly. i was praying that nothing crazy or family-drama-related would happen and hinder my time with don-dizzle. but apparently, God was looking out for me and let me have this one. : D
i am overwhelmed with the idea of buying things for my family for christmas. i want everyone to have nice presents. a lot of people think that homemade presents are just a cheap way of giving gifts. well, the truth is, they're really not. most of the time homemade presents are just as expensive as store-bought, ready-made, emotionless gifts.
the reason i'm so negative about this is because my crazy mom made a mean comment today about me making homemade gifts all of the time. well, that's my way of saying, i care about you so much that i took the time to make something with my own hands that i thought would compliment your style and hopefully will make you think of me when you use it. so mleh, all of you homemade haters.
my cousin decorated our house with lights and she already put up the christmas tree. if you're in the neighborhood, stop by and see our little festival of blinking lights.
