Wow, I can only say that I'm speechless with all what you're saying. I mean I never expected people to like my writing, and by far not that they actually love it. I've always done this for fun and it means so much hearing these words from a person that isn't my mom, lol. I don't know if I will ever publish it, because for one, I don't really think it's good enough and second, I would have to change a lot of things cause the characters are technically not mine. So, yeah...
Awh, I didn't mean to make you cry... though I have to say I shed one or the other tear while writing all these goodbye scenes too. If I have someone like Elijah in my life? Sigh. Well I don't know if it's like that, but I have my brother and he was always the one to believe in me. He always has my back, he's there for me when I need him, he protects me from everything and everyone. And in some way, he may be my best friend sometimes. And I guess while writing Elijah, I thought about all the things a best friend and a brother should be, and how you have that one person in your life that was as simple as it sounds, that just was always there. And the goodbye, well let's say I knew how to put some emotion into it since my brother left home to go to university two years ago and I only see him a few times a year. So you could say that, yeah. And I guess everybody wishes to have a person like Elijah in their lives, that's what stories are there for. To dream, to imagine, to wish for.
Haha yeah, I know. Nobody really expected it, but I left a few hints in the earlier chapters, even in the summary. Awh, I'm glad I could make you feel better, hun. :-) I will try to write the next chapter as fast as I can, I really hope I will get it finished before I leave for holiday in two weeks. We will see.
Sure, I could look over it if I find the time. Haha, I'm sure your writing is by miles better than mine. Don't underestimate yourself. Well, we will see :-)
