Quick Rant...
When I was ill earlier this month, my doctor wrote me a script with refills, plus gave me samples for this go-round. I took the script to get it filled yesterday, so I have it around. I dropped it off at Walgreens in the morning, and went to pick it up after work. When I asked the pharmacy for it, they replied, "that will be $40". I questioned whether or not they had given me the generic. The pharmacy gal told me that "that is the generic." I called my doctors office to ask for some other type of anti-biotic, since it was too expensive for me to afford. They told me that Giant Eagle and Walmart have it as one of their "300+ presciptions for $4.00" and called it into Giant Eagle for me.
I am appalled that one company would charge $36 more for something. So...FYI, if you are ill, call Giant Eagle or Walmart before you drop off your script and see if it is one of their $4.00 ones.
