I went to see my college...Shippensburg University it was awesome. The weather was _so_ nice it was hot but luckily there was a strong breeze that cooled us off b4 we could get uncomfortable. i talked to an english prof, a senior with writing emphasis and a junior with certification in edu.
There was an english sority and i found a lot of extracurricular activities. yr book, i could write the stories. There's a school paper called "The Slate" im interested in that and there are religious based activities. it'll be fun.
I had to take this math placement test bcuz i didn't do so hot on my SATs, i passed and am at college level so i don't have to take any remedial courses or any summer work, since english is my major anyway i won't need alot of math.
At first i thought i could never do it here cuz i'd get lost but im sure once i learn where my classes are i'll be ok...hopefully. i get an advisor is _so_ cool. i _love_ the dorms, it _so_ isn't like the horror stories ppl say.
There is a phone jack for you comp and phone and the same goes for your room mate. there's a rec room and it only costs $5 for a sticker so you can play _pool_, ping pong, and watch tv or play the _piano_ and exercise. the bathroom looked nice and there's a cleaning lady who cleans _every_ day and does a _really_ nice job.
Im really excited and can't wait mum said there's a June 25th orientation there maybe i'll get my bks and stuff. Ali was _so_ right i really luv this college and when i get there i'll probably complain hey it's human nature.
Hopefully we'll find a better way to ge down there, Daryl is fine and nice but it costs $60 going there and $60 back. wish i could drive but i need someone to _realy_ show me how. i also liked the CUB and especially the school store. you could buy anything you need, not really sure about ink and paper for the printer. they don't have excedrin migraine either -_- if mum and pops send care packages they'll have to include bottles of excedrin migraine. i hope to get a laptop and then just hook up a printer to instead of a lg bulky thing. i hope to work on campus and then work to buy a cell phone cuz they come in handy but i don't want anything fancy...just one that works and has a nice plan but with nothing extra.
