[There is the sound of soft hissing near the PCD -- it sounds very much like a snake -- but only one individual in Adstringendum will be able to decipher what is actually being said.

Tom sounds particularly venomous today, viciously angry, but the only sounds that come from the PCD are faint, hissing, soft bits of Parseltongue.]

I do, though it's more for potion purposes than an actual pet. The venom is useful.

Certain venoms make for excellent potion ingredients.

Cures for the common cold, sleeping draughts, and the like.

I didn't know. That's sort of neat. Even something like poison can be used for something good.

I would have to negate the venom itself somehow, but yes. Useful.
