[Tom is outside Howl's Moving Castle, moving his wand in a wide arc, casting the snow aside in a large circle around him. Slowly... carefully... he is obviously fixated on his work, making sure it is perfect.
Once he has created a circle large enough, he steps out of the circle, flicking his wand carefully.]
Aguamenti.

I was simply curious on what you had done to put a soul into a bottle. Whether or not the process was similar.
Nothing is free, of course... an exchange of knowledge and perhaps a magical demonstration on my part? To make it worth your while.

But if you have something new to show, I don't mind explaining the procedure.

Of course. I'm something of a genius, in my world. [There is no hint of boasting -- it's simply a fact.] I could perform any feat of magic for you. Transfiguration, hexes, curses... what did you have in mind?

All of it. [Simply.] Not all at once, it can be an ongoing trade - piece for piece.

[After all, if Tom is to do as he pleases in this city, he has to compromise something. Having this man know what he is capable of, magically, won't harm anything.]
Where should I go?

[As long as he can continue research, he doesn't much care what Tom does with the information.]

[He needs to entertain Usagi for a certain period of time.]
Two hours?

[And Tom clicks off the PCD. And, true to form, he arrives promptly two hours later, knocking crisply at the door. He appears impeccable, but his hands are in his pockets, one around his wand.
He has no intention of being dissected or having his soul removed. A bit of precaution never killed anyone.]

Despite rest, Kurotsuchi's still tired when he opens the door, though between the makeup and his usual blankly watchful expression, it's probably not obvious. And after a moment's staring, he moves back, waving him inside.]
What can you demonstrate?

He steps inside carefully, removing his gloves, casting a careful watch about the lab. It reeks of disinfectant -- of St Mungo's.]
A variety of things, ranging from transfiguration, hexes, curses... well, as stated, but what I intend to do now is something called the Imperius Curse.
[A huge risk, a gamble -- but from what Tom has seen and gathered of Kurotsuchi, he doesn't seem like a man bound by morals, and is very unlikely to run around tattling on him about what he can do.]
Do you have any living specimens, Mister Kurotsuchi?
Reply
And he did have some small collection of animals - a few rabbits, the odd lizard or two. Kurotsuchi didn't much care for dealing with their upkeep, but it was useful to always have a few living things on hand for simple tests.
Leading him over to one of the cages, he glanced back in his direction.]
Do you need it taken out to show it?

[He raises his wand towards a rabbit, focusing, his eyes becoming colder, harder.]
Imperio.
[The rabbit stiffens abruptly and Tom tilts his head, feeling out the stupid creature's mind. He moves his wand upward and the rabbit raises itself to its hindquarters. A quick jerk of his wrist and the rabbit runs in circles. A downward sweep and the rabbit presses itself into the bottom of the cage.
After a few more exercises, Tom speaks up to explain.]
I can control any living thing with my mind. With magic.
