I am such a procrastinator. Only a little more than a month of high school left.. ah... old habits do die hard.

I thought I was going to dinner with Fili for his birthday, but those plans died. It remained a family thing so Edward and I looked all prepped up for nothing. Without any plans, we went back to his house. After all, it was Friday, the 13th... who knows what could've happened if we went out? Haha. With plans of actually finding something to do... we ended up falling asleep on the couch around 7pm and not getting up for a very long time. I went home at 4am, exhausted after having done nothing. Pathetic, I know.

Saturday was quite fun. It was a triple birthday weekend in Edward's family. Spent a few hours getting presents and then headed up to Olympia. Edward and I went in my car while Amy, Edward, Gina and Raelyn went in the other car. Edward and I stopped at Capitol Mall for more presents, ate caramel apples, and met Travis. Neither of us had met Travis before. Travis is Edward's friend Jennifer's gay guy friend who helped with getting my Coach purse for my birthday. He works at Macy's in the handbags department. It was really quite funny.

Edward: "Are you Travis?"
Travis: "Yes, I am."
Edward: "I'm Edward."
Travis: {shocked face} "Oh... oh!" {points to me with purse} "And you're the girlfriend!"

We spent a good while talking to him. It was really obvious he was gay. I liked him; Edward told me that it was like a white Fili. So I guess if he's like Fili, then I'd have to like him, haha.

But soon after that, we went off to the family barbecue. Everyone was so inviting and friendly. They had personality and were humorous and caring. As Edward and I are on the porch of their beautiful historic home, he pointed out something. His family treats me better than my own family does, his family treated me like I was their family. It made me happy and sad at the same time. I feel bad that Edward can't have the same from my family because they disapprove of us so much. But I had a great time. Lots of laughs... =) And Edward was quite happy, he bought a whole bunch of movies and games for his PSP at a discounted price because Kevin works at Best Buy. We left around 10-something and headed back to Vancouver.

Edward had to get back to his graveyard sleep schedule so we went to La Center. Before we went to Olympia, we stopped by La Center. Gambled a little, he got a straight flush at Pai Gow and got $250. Fun stuff, haha. But he played poker while I watched Kill Bill on the PSP. We went home and hung out more. Fell asleep at 3am and I went home around 5.

Overall, I didn't do very much this weekend, but I had fun! =)

Oh yah, and I'm a finalist for the Vancouver Methodist Foundation Scholarship, whoo hoo! And I don't even go to church. =)
