Character Personality: Sephiroth is a character who has known ever since he was young that he was different from everyone else. These differences created a sense of separation from the others around him and left him more or less feeling isolated because of it. It all sounds possible! I knew it! If they could just make another FF7 game about Sephiroth. >.< In some ways, I can relate to him (in a non-psychotic way lol).

He was definitely an interesting character and I liked to believe that there was more to him than just the evil villain side post insanity (of given the right circumstances to grow).I know what you mean :) there are sine aspects of his personality that I can find some relations with as well.

I knew there was more to everything. I've been beating myself over trying to get into his head (and got headaches along the way). I didn't have any luck until I found your analysis on him. So he isn't just insane. He's in pain. Cecil was right.

It took me a few years to get (at least how I see him) knucked down, and it took a lot of reflection, study, and game play. I was happy with what I came up with and if it helps you understand him as well then I'm happy! He's a fascinating character and one that I think is sometimes misread or misunderstood.

I knew it. I knew it all along. Sephiroth doesn't just want to become a god and rule the world/universe. He's hiding something. Also, I still have questions that I haven't gotten any answers. I haven't played FF7 yet, but I did watch a walkthrough on Crisis Core because I don't have a PSP, and I found out about Cecil's line implying that Sephiroth has sorrow and pain from my friend. Does he know that Jenova isn't his mother? If yes, why is he still going for world domination just because she wanted to do it centuries ago? Is he a huge psychopath that would kill anyone that gets near him? My friend and I have been debating over the last one. He believes he would kill anyone just by simply getting near him while I believe he wouldn't if I wanted to become his apprentice/love interest? Obviously, this is for a roleplay we're doing where I'm going to turn evil (I don't know how yet). I mean, he wouldn't show any interest in the only person who actually likes him on Gaia? Everybody hates him, so wouldn't he find it odd to have one ( ... )
