I gotta tell ya its great to be back. Sorry, to all my friends I couldn't read your journals because the cabin didn't have a computer lol obviously. Boy, do I have a lot to write. Hope you have time to read it cause this is going to be long :D
Monday August, 18th: We woke up around 6:00 and got everything ready, my mom took extra long since she was worried we'd forget something (typical) when we finally got there we went on Hemlock Bluff Trail (we went to Algonquin Park where animals live and stuff) which was about 3.1 km long. We didn't see a thing -.- Just chip monks. Lol. Around 6 of them, of course not all at once. When we got to our cabin we didn't do much just watched tv. Although, there wasn't very many channels.
Tuesday August, 19th: Went on Track & Tower Trail. It was pretty cool since the trail was about the parks history. It was 7.7 km long and all we saw still only was chip monks. We probably went on the trails at the wrong times because the guide said that the animals are out most at dawn and in the evening and we went around 8:00 am. The Look out (we went on a cliff) was be-autiful! I could have stayed there for hours, but my brother was getting impatient >.< Back at the cabin we had a camp fire and ate roasted marshmellows (mmmmm...) I didn't eat to many otherwise I would of been sick >.< A Shania Twain concert was on that night (Live) in Chicago so we watched that because Shania Twain is one of my favourite singers. I wished I was there! Oh well. At least I got to watch it.
Wednesday August, 20th: Went on the longest trail there was. Mizzy Lake Trail. It was 11 km long! It was supposed to be a wild life sighting trail but we still didn't see a thing! All we saw was chip monks (of course) and a Grouse. My mom made a big deal out of it but I wanted to see A Moose or a bear. Boy, we had lots of luck. When we finally finished the trail we decided to go to the beach and relax for a bit, because our feet were killing us. Lol, I kept splashing everybody :P We had anouther camp fire at the cabin and then we went on a short trail it wasn't to exciting since it was in a spruce bog. The only exciting part about it was the rock climbing part. My mom was freaking out because we were up high and my mom is afraid of heights. We were near the highway so I said hi to the cars, I'm crazy :Pon our way back we saw a beaver in a pond. Not to mention a FAT beaver and it was really cool. The biggest thing we saw on the whole trip. When we got back we went to sleep. Lol, I dreamt about John *sighs*
