OOC *jumps on bandwagon*
Before I get started I'm just letting y'all know that I am not dead. It's just been a busy two weeks what with school starting and moving in and such. I'm all caught up now and should be able to play more.
Anyways, now that's cleared up I've got info for the newbies! Yay!
Well first thing you need to know is that Draco is from a pure-blooded family. Which means no muggle (non-magical) person has ever been in his family. And also no witch/wizard who had muggles for parents have. If, by the weird occurrence that this did happen they would be blasted off the family tree and regarded as dead. So anyways the point is, he thinks he's better than most people because of this. He doesn't like muggles and he really doesn't like witches/wizards that come from muggle parents and really really doesn't like muggle-loving witches/wizards.
In school he got sorted into Slytherin house which means he's cunning, sly, ambitious. And he is all of those things. Next to Hermione Granger he's probably the smartest boy in his year. He's pretty good a quidditch and he does whatever possible to get what he wants. He's mean and snotty and likes to throw his money around but hey, nobody is perfect. He was pretty popular among his Slytherin classmates and he kept most of the school (exception of the Gryffindors) in check by threatening them. He has had numerous run in's with Harry, Ron and Hermione. Harry is pretty much his arch-nemesis. And in addition to people he doesn't like is Fenrir Greyback, who is a crazy werewolf who has a taste for children. I'm a weirdo who likes to think that either a. Draco got bit by him or b. Fenrir is a perv who wants to bite him. And who wouldn't? Draco's gorgeous, look at that icon!
He cares a lot about his family. He threatened to kill Harry after his father got sent to prison. And one of the main reasons he worked so hard to try to kill Dumbledore was because his mother was in danger. I like to think he's a momma's boy. I've played him that he doesn't think much of his father anymore because of how he left his mother. He despises his Aunt Bellatrix. And he'd say he hates his two Uncles but he really is fond of him.
Okay so the Half Blood Prince thing. Draco joined the Death Eaters either after or a short time before his Dad got sent to prison. I don't think he really knew what he got himself into. He didn't really expect to kill people and such (though you see I've made him a little less of a pussy). And Voldemort was pretty pissed at Draco's dad for screwing things up so he assigned Draco pretty much the hardest task ever. He had to kill Dumbledore or Voldemort would kill Draco and his mother. Draco tried the whole year to kill Dumbledore and eventually thought of a way to get Death Eaters into the school. This whole ordeal took a lot out of Draco and he became a reclusive emo!kid who would cry in bathrooms. Anyways. Draco cornered Dumbledore but found that he didn't have the balls to kill him. Dumbledore offered to hide him and his mother away but unfortunately the Death Eaters walked in and tried to bully Draco into killing the old fart already. But he didn't, Snape came in and was like "Avada Kedarvra, bitch" and Dumbledore went down. The book ended with Draco and Snape high-tailing it out of there.
Draco started out his year at Fandom pretty much being an ass to everyone because hey, he hates muggles. He kept going on Death Eater missions and I had him kill a few Harry Potter characters that I didn't like weren't that important so far in the plot. He also joined the JA and did evil like deeds that involved...bake sales. But then love came calling. *sigh* He began to date Lily Evans (yes, Harry's mom) who is in fact a muggle born witch. That changed his perspective a lot. Also helping that change was the fact that his aunt turned him into Ron Weasley for a week. Due to these things he's gone on less and less Death Eater missions, became to be a nice boy to the muggles and now that Lily's left him he's looking at the other muggle girls in that way. Though be nice and don't tell his mother cause she'd kill him and you.
For the most part Draco'll be nice to you if you're nice to him. He watches a lot of TV (he's still fascinated with it) so he's in the common room a lot. At Hogwarts he was the top dog so he really didn't have any trouble talking to girls. But here, he's sort of clumsy and awkward around the muggle girls. But in a cute way because um, hello? He's Draco Malfoy.
There are a few exceptions to the "nice" rule. If you came from Hogwarts, he most likely will be an ass to you. And he's sort of wary around JA members because of something he had done while he was with them. And of course, as with the books, his favorite person to bother is Hermione. And he's very thankful that she wasn't around to see him chicken out with the whole 'killing Dumbledore' thing.
