Draco's sleep was rudely interrupted by a phone call on Wednesday morning. Didn't anyone sleep until 3 pm anymore? He recognized the number as his Uncle's but when he answered the phone he heard his mother's voice instead.
"Mum?"
"Draco! Can you hear me? Am I coming in clear? Your uncle insisted I use this horrible thing. I don't understand it at all. There are so many little buttons and when I tried to dial your number it flashed in my eyes and took a very unflattering picture of me!"
All of this was said very quickly. Draco didn't say anything. He was too tired to listen to his mother's whining. "DRACO? Are you there! I can hear you breathing! You have your father's breathing habits. The man sounded like a drunken moose when he breathed. Drove me crazy."
"Yes mother, I'm here. Why are you calling?"
"I think you know why I'm calling!"
Draco rubbed his forehead. "I honestly don't. Did I do something to disappoint you?"
"Yes! Yes you did! It's been months since I've seen you in person and quite frankly I'm sick of it! I demand you come home and spend time with your Mummy!"
Draco made a look of disgust that he swears could have been felt through the phone lines. "Don't give me any of that Draco! You're going and that's that! I expect you here by the weekend."
There was click and then the line went dead.
"Man..."
((Just establishing where Draco's going to be next week while I'm at the beach.))
