I didn't realize it...
But I've passed the 1000-entries mark in Livejournal. :) :)
I've stopped posting as much as I used to, I should get back to that.
Two Things:
1.
I cut class yesterday, but for good reason! Had to go to Makati with Vinny and Dani to present our projects & budget to KAF for approval. I was honestly really worried because the KAF presentation would have been my first presentation as President on my own. On my own meaning without a Biscocho or even Sharmila type around to be chief worrier and director of all things.
I needn't have worried though, KAF was extremely awesome (I should say as usual). Both DEP and PSDC presented their plans and budgets to them, and they gave us the green light.
Since money for PSDC has been my chief headache for a while, this breakthrough definitely warranted a big sigh of relief. Actually, after the big wooden door closed behind us, the three of us started jumping up and down and silently shouting.
Of course, this doesn't mean that we can sit on our laurels - still definitely looking for more sponsorship and following all of those up. But I'm really pleased that we're safe enough to start thinking of the tournament beyond its bare bones and into the fun stuff! Possible projects that were on hold pending the Money Question can maybe start to move forward.

We deserved our trip to North Park afterwards. I love Chinese food. Yum. There's nothing that comforts the tummy more.
