OMG SO THE BLACK AND WHITE FULL DEX WAS LEAKED TODAY.

Okay for starters, the most important type. Electrics. Now, I liked the Zebra when it was released and I liked the flying squirrel too so I was feeling optimistic about the types! AND THEN THE EVO OF ZEBRA WAS RELEASED AND I FLIPPED MY SHIT. IT IS SO CUTE I AM HAVING A LOT OF THOSE OMFG. AND THEN the electric spider was leaked and I dunno, I've never had much of a like for bug type pokemon bar like, ledian and butterfree (out of nostagia) so I wasn't overly keen. The concept was cool, but EH not excited. It'll probably grow on me, considering that the little spider is pretty damn cute.
Now the whole dex is out I'm really disappointed with the electrics this gen. After Emonga they just got progressively uglier until the hideous thing that is shibirudon that is NIGHTMARE FUEL was released. It makes me think of the Hitcher from The Mighty Boosh and his songs about eels up inside ya. So upsetting 8( The fact that there's an electric/flying GENIE TYPE LEGENDARY really doesn't excite me either, and I know I was hoping for too much when I was hoping for a repeat of the Mareep line up, but seriously! It's really not that difficult to make CUTE ELECTRIC TYPES.
Now to the rest of the Gen. THERE ARE SOME PRETTY GOOD ONES. Lots of really fucking good birds, which will excite ormery and I really like the Discow and the cute little cat with the eyebrows AND A LOT ACTUALLY. I really really fucking like Erufuun as it sort of looks like a plant ram, and I really like the turtle and the archaeopteryx which will fit nicely into my PREHISTORIC party that I'm planning! I like the ghost/fire chandelier pokemon as well as the ghost/water. I love Zuruggu too, and I'm going to have one to specifically called HURRRRR because of that expression, but in all honesty? That's about it. The majority of this gen are hideous and really disappointing 8(
Seriously, one of the pokemon is shaped like a fucking ICECREAM and don't even get me started on the gothic lolita pokemon. AND THE GEARS????? WHAT?????
I'm also pissed that three of the legendaries are all pretty much the same design with subtle differences. I mean, it's not like the regi's but it's actually. THE SAME POSE. SAME EXPRESSION. JUST DIFFERENT COLOURS. What are you guys even playing at. It seriously just looks like they gave out a template of it and asked the designers kids to colour them in, and the top three best designs (if you can call them that) won.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm still buying the fuck out of this game and playing it (I MEAN THERE'S A FEMALE ELECTRIC GYM LEADER FOR FUCKS SAKE--but even she has a downside that she has Two Emonga and a Zebra because SHE IS A GIRL AND CAN ONLY HAVE CUTE POKEMON GUYS!!!!) , just there's a lot more pokemon fodder now that I know I'll be avoiding. But there's also a lot of cute ones that I'll be more than happy on having a team, and I'm already planning one. I just don't know who to start with because I kind of hate all the starters too :\ Mijumaru seems to be the lesser of three evils though HURH.
OH WELL. GIVE ME A ZEBRA, A LITTLE PLANT RAM, A TURTLE AND A CROCODILE AND I'LL BE GOOD.
Jolteon is still my favourite by far.
