OMG! Yes!!! It's about fragging time they got all that stupid politicking out of the way and gave it the green light...
and two movies... TWO MOVIES?! Sequel to The Hobbit? I can only guess... The quest for the Rings of Power before the events of LOTR and Bilbo's 111th birthday?... or The War of the Second Age with Isildur obtaining the One Ring from Sauron to which Bilbo's journey is the sequel?... Or are they going to split the book in half and have one movie focus on Bilbo and the other on the Battle of the Five Armies?
So much speculation! Sir Ian McKellen back as Gandalf the Grey, dammit! Bring the man back! Would Christopher Lee play Saruman again? Could John Rhys-Davis come back to play one of the other Dwarves? Will we see Legolas? Who's gonna be Thranduil?
