Well, That Took A While
It rained, right before I had to leave for Easter Vigil mass.
Mass started at 7.30pm with the whole church in darkness for the Litany of Light segment, which was pretty cool, cos the only light came from candles, so it was REALLY pretty. And we got to sing "Zion Sing" (love that piece - its kinda sad that alot of the really nice pieces we only get to sing like maybe once a year).
It was the first time our choir was doing the Easter Vigil mass and we were sorta combined with the resident Chinese choir as well... And because they combine the Litany of Baptism with everything else, it went on for HOURS.
Litany of the Word came next and we had to sit through about 5 readings and had to alternate the psalms with the Chinese choir. Though it was interesting listening to them sing in Chinese.
Then came the whole Litany of Baptism... which was the longest part of the mass since they had to baptise and confirm over 50 new Catholics...
In the end, the whole thing finished at around 10.40pm and we ended up having dinner at around 11pm XD
