What?!
I never thought this day would come. I just found out that my favorite TV show, Alias, has been moved to Thursday nights at 8pm. I am uber-glad that it is on at 8 instead of 9. (being a teacher = going to bed early) My issue is that last season I developed the habit of watching The O.C. on Thursday nights. How sad is this? Same time, different channels, both shows I enjoy. I know Alias will win, but I will miss the social outlet of watching the O.C. with Mary Kay and sometimes Sara. We don't have TiVo. I'll try not to let this shake my world too much.
In other news, much bigger news in fact, today was my first day as a teacher and I survived. I think I did more than survive. It went pretty well actually, and I don't know why I was so freaked out. I mean, I was a wreck on the inside for the past few days... and some times on the outside. I never even got that nervous about going to a new school as a student, or going to live in a foriegn country for 6months. I dont know, I guess I'm a nut job.
One of my 8th graders suggested that a good classroom rule would be "No Smoking." I agree. Maybe that will be my only rule. I mean, what else is there really?
