rollin' on dubs...
Sooo.... Friday my beloved jeep, aka La Tortuga, was parked in Hillsdale whilst I was in starbucks visiting DL. Some girl hit my car and 3 others, leaving me carless until the damamge to the back end is repaired. That probably will be done sometime the beginning of next week. What that means for me is that I get to drive a 2005 Chevy Colorado. Its a large 4 door pick-up. Very nice, and a free upgrade since Enterprise didnt have something smaller for me. So sweet. I hope this doesnt spoil me.
I cried at work yesterday. Thats not too embarassing, especially when its in front of the lady who is in charge of all the B&N cafes in like 3 regions. It was great. She was teaching store managers from the district how to do the CREMA cafe review, using our cafe as an example, and I guess I just took her criticizm personally at one point, said something to try and defend something she pointed out to them... which I KNOW was done correctly... and she said something to the effect of "well, you should have baked 4 of each thing so you could set up the case the right way." And she said it in front of 9 store managers and pretty much embarrassed the crap out of me. So, I tried to fight the tears, but it didnt last and I had to go in the back and cry.. The worst part... she saw me. Oh wait, the really worst part.... it was hard to stop. Weird. I guess some times it doesnt take much to put me over the edge.
I dont think I really have any other good stories to tell. Something I wonder though... why must all people from New Jersey pass on the right... even when the passing lane is nice and clear for them? I just don't get it.
