Rainy Day
Today kinda sucked. I woke up early, drove an hour to UNH only to get out and walk in the freezing rain. I got to learn about UNH stuff which was really cool, and I'm wicked excited about everything. Though the Pre-Vet program is kinda competitive. 50 students out of the 15,000 that go there, are in the Pre-vet major.... 20 make it through all four years, 15 apply to after grad, and 8 of that 15 actually get in. I'm determined to be one of those eight. They have some really cool programs through the school too, that you get paid to go to another country ( Australia!!!!!) and do research on whatever you want. They pay for everything... AND pay you. That lasts 6 weeks in the summer! How awesome would that be? We left after all the talking because I had to go to work.. so on the ride home, I think I may have hit 90-95, because we flew past everyone.. and I was having trouble staying awake... so a little adrenaline rush did the trick. Naturally my mom couldn't yell it me because the lack of a working speedometer. hehe. When we got home I fell asleep on the couch.. which sucked because I had to wake up and go to work.... thank god for the people there... otherwise I think it would be quite impossible for me to go in. Mark came and visited for a bit.. and that was my day! how exciting. later.
