Off in the Preserve | Thursday Afternoon

Seriously, it was amazing to Caroline that she could look out over the edge where the preserve met the ocean and see like, a completely different view than she had a week ago but still have full service on her cell phone. Of course she was taking advantage of both situations, snapping a few photos and sending them off to Elena along with texts about the complete lack of decent shopping available in the land of Vikings.

Um, not that she was supposed to be taking pictures while hunting. Ugh, she was bored already. It might have been different if Caroline was at all interested in hurting anything, but she thought about how the squirrels were like, part of the radio staff and people would miss them and stuff and the bunnies had those cute squishy tails and it would so be her luck that she'd try and eat some tiny bunny's mother and it was almost mother's day and that would just be cruel and so maybe she should wait to really get this hunting thing going after the weekend. She'd just like, track things for now. Yes. That would be kind.

See? She really was a good vampire! One who wandered back into the trees a ways before pausing, closing her eyes, and listening for anything interesting. Caroline hoped she didn't come across another teal deer. She still felt guilty about the last one.

[Hunting in the preserve? Yes, please.]
