In a BLUR!
AHHH! So much happening so fast! Everything is a blur of yearbook signings with my colorful pens :) and oh so fashionable autograph pages and color Hoofbeats! :-D *tear* Who would have ever believed it possible...
Friday was the Senior Awards where I got recognized for a bunch of things I had done ages ago... like participating in UIL? ok... I'll take it. But is was nice for people to finally realize all the things I've done and kept on the down low. ;o) Yeah, my GPA= way crazy. Anyone actually catch it? Cuz I missed it. But best of all was getting on the Royal Court!! And being one of the special two who gets a $500 scholarship. :) WOOT!
That night we had the senior editors party. The food was good, but heavily fried. The best part was when Bud read his little speech of thanks. When he said my name... man, the tears started coming fast and heavy. THEN Defries turned us all into blubbering idiots with that AMAZING song of his. God, I haven't cried like that... in well... since I can remember... It's just too sad. :'-( I DON'T WANNA LEAVE HOOFBEAT!! COME TO STANFORD WITH ME, YA'LL!!
Afterwords, Kim and I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which I somewhat liked but it was crazy how much it reminded me of Joseph.
Anyhoo, Bud's party on Saturday was like Prom Take 2, with music that didn't involve having to rub your rump on someone else. There was tons of oldies, Selena, and crazy group dances like the Macarena, Chicken Dance, and Hokey Pokey. *shakes head* good times, good times. Josh and Sarah were like amazing during the the Tootsie Roll song, like woah. Oh and Josh and Erika apparently going out...? Random yes? And way late? Josh is going to Iowa, right?
Sunday was the Graduation Mass at St. Patrick's. I think all evil thoughts were exorcised from me by that blessing, eh Buddy? ;o) The free food afterwords not to shabby either. mmmm brisket.
