Today we hung out at Jansi’s home, had lunch at Myonos, a Greek restaurant that seems new to us in Dobbs Ferry and then we went to visit Masters. It felt different, but it felt good. I no longer missed my days and everything that was High School, but whenever I go back there, I see snap shots of people and places and things that were and that deep inside of me, will always be. There is a nostalgic feeling that is not completely sad, but rather sweet.

Mr. Perlysky pulled out his computer from which we found and read “progress reports” that he had written about us while we were students in his class. We also went to visit Cole, our dorm and our dorm parents, the Friedmans and the Gormleys. Mr. Gormley brought us upstairs to show us the new kitchen and the new furniture they put in and we reminisced about the years we were there. He remembers us sneaking out the dorms and many times, out of our rooms after 11. It was funny. I remembered sneaking into Andy’s room where she, Antonia, Kaeun and I talked so late into the night and then we had a candy corn fight and laughed so hard we got caught. I was known for running towards the closets, afraid of getting caught. The last week before Graduation, we snuck out at midnight, walked to the Hudson River and stayed ‘til dawn. It was a lot of fun, and I wish someday that we can do it again, but there’s no more having to sneak out, which takes away some of the fun.

On our way home, we stopped by at Coldstone where Kaeun had Chocolate Fudge, Jansi made her own ice cream with coffee and caramel and I, I had the usual, Cheesecake Fantasy. It was delicious.
