I am currently making yogurt (soy yogurt). Well, I guess that my part in all of it is over, now it's the bacteria's turn to get on with the yoggin'. I just need to wait a few more hours to see if I did it right.
So, I applied to this website that is looking for people to create/adapt recipes for working moms who hate having to come home and cook... The person running the site got back to all of the applicants with a sort of expanded application process, involving example moms and applicants needing to tailor make recipes to suit. Unfortunately, I couldn't respond with certain ideas for the moms, most of which falling under the 'how to force their kids into eating things other than McDs or mac and cheese by starving them if they complain about what you are feeding them', as well as the 'don't you have a husband - can't he operate fire and knives?' not to mention the 'if you don't know how to do it, stop watching Dancing with the Stars and look it up' varieties. But, I suppose if I told them those things then not only would I not get the job, but there wouldn't be the need to create such a job. In any case, the employer seemed to like my responses, now I just have to wait for up to a week or two for him to fully respond back to me on whether I have a job. On the plus side, my job might actually be directing the website, instead of just recipe monkey. Whatev, as long as I get paid.
I've been noticing the whole waiting theme going on here... hmmm...
Aileen and I have been working on a comic book... well sorta... We've had about a bajillion brainstorming sessions and stuff, but we don't really have anything done on it yet. It'll be great though, with plenty of sub-cultural references, social commentary, complex plot, and scantily clad shit kicking high heel boot wearing gun toting drugged up superheroine action. yeah.
that's all I got
