Jason didn't pinpoint into the house after leaving the Nexus. The magic or whatever it was that the devices depended on left too noticeable a signature, and he wasn't sure of Scott's mood.
Instead, he made his way in as quietly as he could, heading for an alcove almost hidden away in a hallway, grabbing his ipod on the way. He knew the song he had been singing in the Nexus. He had downloaded the album earlier that week, wanting a few songs off of it.
Curling up on the window seat, he put the earbuds in and turned up the volume a bit, putting the song on repeat. After the second or third time, he was whispering the words, not realising he was doing it.
