Here's my attempts to keeping this thing updated! :]
Well first off, I should probably just be honest since when I created this journal I was awfully young! My parents used to keep an eye on this journal at the time so I was told not to post my real name on these sites. Now as a 21 year old I feel awfully silly for still having a fake name. But I've always been too embarrassed to admit it to people :p So I figured I'll be truthful and say that my name is Emily. NOT Mandy but Mandy IS my middle name so if you prefer calling me that its fine. :)
Busy busy busy busy busy week at school. I'm in college and studying to become a pre-school teacher at the moment and I've started having to do student teaching/training. Which means that per quarter I have to do about 60 hours of volunteering at the daycare/preschool at our community college. Let me tell you, managing that while having three other classes to juggle is certainly a handful! I do that on Mondays and Wednesday and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I work part-time at a inhome daycare thats down the road from my house. So I NEVER get a break from children. Not that I'm complaining because I better start getting used to it now :)
Home life lately has been very frustrating. I really want another part time job so that I can move out. I'm lucky enough to have supportive parents who want me to stay with them until I get out of college but sometimes being a 21 year old and living under my parents roof at the same time can be very frustrating. I've been searching for jobs but jobs lately has been very hard to find! But I'm just going to continue to keep my head held high and keep looking. Eventually a new job will fall right into my lap!
