Virgina Tech.
Well, I just wanted to update since I haven't in a while and I'm finally on LJ so I just took the time to stop in and update.
I'm sure, that a lot of you have heard about what had happened in Virgina, at Virgina Tech. God that's terribly tragic, I was watching the news at the end of last period yesterday and god I was just staring at the screen in shot wondering to myself how can a thing like this happen? It's just so tragic, all those people who died and all who were injured. My prayers go to the families of the injured and dead. God what they must be going through - I can barely imagine...
The only thing I keep thinking about is that they were going through a typical day like we always do. Minding their own business; going to classes thinking that everything was all right but then it wasn't and they ended up being the injured. I think that Virgina Tech. Should have gone down on a lockdown when they first heard that there was a shooting. I realize that the guy who did this was gone for nearly four hours before coming back and killing about 33 people including himself leaving was it 60? Injured. It doesn't matter that he wasn't anywhere to be seen, he was still dangerous. It was still dangerous. They should have locked the place down. We hear when there's a suspicious looking man walking around the campus with a backpack on and we get a lock down. It's just makes me angry.
I can't believe how many sick people there are in this world. It's amazing what can cause people to snap. Apparently, the guys girlfriend broke up with him and he just snapped and killed both her and the security guard or RN I think was the name for it. Then he disappeared for four hours and then came back and began shooting. I can't imagine how scared the students must have been. I'm just shaken up about this, it doesn't make me feel safe anymore. Not really.
All right well, I suppose I better be going. No more other news really.
