Gongaga, Gaia, Monday
Okay, so Zack and Ino had come up with their Awesome Vacation Plans (tm), which so far had included a trip to see a play in Midgar, and then a long trip to the next continent over, where they'd be spending a much larger chunk of the week.
Theoretically.
Unlike that other Gongaga, that future-maybe-version that belonged to someone else, this one was pretty much exactly how Zack had remembered it. There was the reactor, off in the distance, doing its thing well beyond the trees and the waterfalls from home. It had been a bit of a silent walk, up until Zack finally had it in his sights.
He'd been holding his breath.
"Home sweet home," he murmured, smiling a tiny bit.
Now that he knew that home was still standing, he could turn around and head back the other way, right? Ino would be okay with that?
