DMB!!!!
Dev and I went to the Dave Matthews concert last night. It was amazing. The mix of people was just unbelievable. There were your typical hippies, frat boys, and sorority girls; as well as couples old enough to be my parents, grandparents, and even one five year old boy (there with his parents of course).
To anyone who has never been to a Dave concert, they play some of their songs but it's a lot more of a jam fest. Which is cool at times but tiresome at others. Boyd (the fiddle player) had one jam where he just went insane and the whole crowd got into it. That was intense! We headed out before the encore since lots of people where drinking and The Joe was sold out. I'm really glad we did since it had snowed about 3 inches since we got there and the roads where crap-tastic. I defiantly left with a greater appreciation for the Band part of DMB.
I'm off now to go see the movie version of Rent. This weekend was supposed to be productive, but its becoming more entertaining. Oh, well!
