1. What's with people trying to cut away parts of thier humanity in order to feel more evolved. Instead of protecting, treasuring it. We are not more evolved by being less human, rather we are emptying, returning to more animalistic nature. Somehow the idea of getting rid of/ignoring/numbing the pain of being human is translated into the more evolved state. maybe because no matter what we do there are certain questions we cannot answer on our own, and so our answer is to deny our humanity by crawling back into the animal state, which would be much more predictable. animals eat, sleep, fuck. they don't look at the stars, they are satisfied with thier lives. so simple, the desperate hunger that exist unexplainably in every human heart can simply be disregarded. Animalism can fit in a simpler circle of logic. We beat ourselves down. Life doesn't exist. There is no good. Only relativism. There is no love. Fuck until you can't feel love anymore. The more you say your ideas don't matter, the more it doesn't matter to have ideas. And that is the end of the human race.
2. Government is already so corrupt wouldn't bigger government just be more corrupt? Why do people keep thinking bigger government/media/industrial/military complexes would be BETTER?
3. I'm continually fascinated by Genesis (the creation story) mostly for the sentence "tree of knowledge of good and evil" because I used to think it was "tree of knowledge" but it's "tree of knowledge of good and evil" and that is so the crux of why man keeps fucking up, and the definition of God. the power to decide what is good, what is evil, ultimately is what ruins us. in everything. and that ability is really what sets us apart.
