Some things are items, some things are experiences, some things are more a gift of expertise than anything.

New always-on earrings, (with a leverback so I don't rip them out from itchiness)
ipod nano (in turquoise!) to replace my ancient refurb that's about to die
New robe in size LG (to replace my 3XL robe which can now wrap around me twice!)
Offer to wash my car inside and out, and armour-all the inside / wax the outside.
Offer to take my car to the shop for oil change/tire rotation.
Personal training sessions at the Apple gym.
Ask around until you find the brow expert of Austin, the kind of person who doesn't just wax but will actually pull out the tweezers -- I've never shaped my brows in any way and have no idea what shape would best enhance my face or who to trust to make that call.
Find me a hair stylist that's good with female straight hair; offer to come with me and help me figure out what to do with this mop!
Promise to have breakfast with me (nicer-super-crazy-nummy or regular-normal-nummy or even coffee-only, they're all good!)
Promise to wander downtown on foot with me all day some nice weekend day.
Take me to the art museum (or the *other* art museum).
Take me to the botanical gardens.
Take me on a bat tour.
