The other night i got to thinking about happiness; What is happiness? Why do we make choices that make us unhappy. Life is like walking the razors edge. For the most part, i have been walking that edge with my back to the drop off. Sometimes we get too caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life to realize that we are standing too close to the drop off. And when a foot slips, who will be there to catch us? The way i look at it, there are 2 ways a person can go. We can either get too caught up in the petty everyday life, but is that really life? Are we simple existing to exist, or are we taking the other path. The path that one has to choose to make. The path into something beautful, full of grace and simply magnificent. Many times i have thought the second path was an impossible dream. There can't be a place, or a way of life that is that great. Or if there is, you need money like Trump to achieve it. But that idea is the idea that pollutes what is life. Finding happiness is as simple as deciding what to eat for dinner. Do i want to eat dog food or filet mignon? Do i want to remain unhappy, or am i going to do something about it. There is a whole world out there that we as humans become immune to. We become too busy, and too preoccupied with the aspects of life that drag us down to see the beauty that is the life we are blessed with. Embracing life is a talent that many of us have abandoned as we have gotten older, when now is the time to grab life by the balls and tell it, "i have arrived! I will no longer sit on the sidelines and watch life pass me by. I am here on this beautiful earth, and i am going to eanjoy every moment!"
I'm moving to california for good.
