[Phone ; Shamelessly Public]Fall's really settling in, hm? I'd go out shopping for a better coat, but with all this talk of the high school's homecoming, it does seem like many are also on the hunt for nice formal wear. Seamstress employed by the town or not, I see that some passionate about the needle have already offered, so I'll leave that to ( Read more... )

I agree with you. Nii-san should stay home but Touko-san why did you mention my dress all of a sudden? Do you realize this call is public? What will everyone think about me.

Classmates? Well, things are going fine at school but I personally prefer the education at Reien Academy. Mayfield education is simply no place for a lady!!

You'll just have to outshine them, of course. Don't you like how you look? [It's not like she has any plans to push you as homecoming Queen or anything nope NOPE]

That goes without say, but I'm asking about Asagami. She's here too, isn't she? You were friends before the incidents happened with those stranger murders. Have you seen or spoken to her recently?

Of course, I do! Fine, I'll go shopping with you and everyone on Friday.

[SCREAMS]

Ah, Asagami-san. She's doing alright. I saw her hanging with a few strangers the other day but she looks well. Those murder incidents were a little concerning but I never really did figure out what happened to them.

Homecoming's an American tradition, too. You won't get that at Reien Academy. Aren't you curious at all? After all that zombie nonsense, everyone could use something to relax a little.

They've been resolved, so that's that. Asagami Fujino is a recovering person however, so it would be nice to have someone watch over her. Do you see her at Mayfield High, Azaka? She should be attending. Maybe you have some classes with her?

I suppose you're right. Zombies are such a hassle, why would they ever think that's a good idea?

That's relieving to hear. Yes, I see her at school frequently. We take science together. Though, she doesn't seem to have much control over her powers lately. She bends the equipment firmly and it's a little concerning.

I do hope she can learn how to make good use of her mystic eyes though.

I can't answer that, haha.

Is that so? Maybe I should give her a checkup. We are all partially involved, one way or another. Why don't you introduce us someday, Azaka? I don't think we've ever formally met.

Sure, I don't think Asagami-san would mind.

She's a polite and respected classmate of mine.

I've gathered as much. How about over a malt shake? I'll let you decide where and when, just let me know at least a day in advance.

Friday would be best for me. I'm continuing my magus training with other mages from Mayfield but I'll have free time then.

Are you satisfied with that, Touko-san?

We're going shopping this Friday. Earlier in the afternoon, then? Maybe after lunchtime or directly after school, if you can arrange it.

It's good enough, but you got me curious. What other magi have you met?

I can take care of it.

[A short pause.]

Marisa Kirsame. She's a friend of someone I know and she's quite decent in magic that's similar to my fire magecraft. It's not identical but it may prove to be beneficial in training experience.

Kirisame, hm? I'll keep the name in mind. Any others?

Alice Margatroid is quite good at handling a doll with magical properties. You were the only person I knew who used dolls for magical equipment.

Ah, I've met her. Your assigned mother, correct? I should really come to your place more often. Her dolls work differently than mine, but it's always nice to meet a fellow magus of the same specialization. Have you seen her dolls? They're small ones of European design. Quite cute, I would add... [=3=]

Alice made one the other day and named it Goliath.

They resembled your dolls but I'd presume she utilizes them differently in combat.

Besides, how often do you find two magus with the same combat abilities?

Goliath? That's an interesting name. I'll ask her about it myself. Hm... Do you think so? The ones displayed at my workshop are the size of actual people, whereas hers as more dolls that you would see young girls play with. [A low chuckle.] Now you're getting ahead of yourself. Studying from a similar branch happens more often than you'd think. You can't assume this to be our case anyhow. Rather, it's more accurate to say we merely employ a similar medium. I wouldn't think that we're the same, Azaka. Do you even know why her focus is on dolls? Our goals can be completely different. Plus, have you ever seen me use my dolls for combative purposes before?
