[Phone ; Shamelessly Public]Fall's really settling in, hm? I'd go out shopping for a better coat, but with all this talk of the high school's homecoming, it does seem like many are also on the hunt for nice formal wear. Seamstress employed by the town or not, I see that some passionate about the needle have already offered, so I'll leave that to ( Read more... )

That sounds like fun, Azaka's going to that dance right? [She is kinda worried about Azaka trying to set her on fire while they go shopping but Shiki will be there at least....]

She does attend school, so yes. Are you curious about the homecoming? [Oh c'mon Touko wouldn't let that happen! If anything Azaka'd be busier trying to set Shiki on fire with her imouto glare... =3=]

I've heard people say it's just a really big dance held a few weeks after school starts. But it's only for high schoolers....

That's the gist of it. It's an American tradition though, so while we're here, why not go and take a look to see what it's like? There's no reason to pass up a good opportunity. It is a celebration, after all, so I doubt that there will be strict supervision.

I'd like to see what the big deal with it is. If it's a celebration then everyone will be taking part in it, so I don't want to me left out.

Not having supervision sounds like a bad idea waiting to happen. [Because clearly no one does stupid stuff at homecoming.]

Highschoolers, but close enough. I'm sure that teachers will be watching and chaperoning, but if they were strict about entrance, we might not get in. As for the other things that could happen during homecoming...

[she chuckles.] Teenagers can do strange things. Let's just go and see, hm?

They'll really let us in or not really care if we sneak in? [She's interested in what goes down at these types of things, even if she has to sneak in it's a once a year event to witness.]

I'll make sure of it. [Shouldn't be hard to whip some magecraft up to go unnoticed too JUST IN CASE? SHE'S GOT THIS.]

Maybe we can drag mother and papa with us to? We can get them to dance together, it'd be like a date or something along those lines.

They'd prefer somewhere more quiet, but if we can convince Kokutou, he can convince Shiki. Do you want to do that? [DOES THAT MEAN SHE'LL GET TO TEACH MANA HOW TO TROLL? :Da]

I think papa would go if he knew that I was going, so all we have to do is tell him that, [Because a ten year old going to a dance with a bunch of teens screams danger.] and if he goes mother will follow him to make sure nothing bad happens to him, seeing as he's a danger magnet.

[Yes, yes it does :'D ]

[But you're going with Touko. That overrides everything else and Kokutou'd know it, =3=a

STILL...]

We can ask. Maybe you can get them to talk about their high school days, too. Wouldn't that be interesting? [DID YOU KNOW THAT MURDER IS ROMANTIC, MANA?

On second thought they probably shouldn't teach you that...]

[Ooh, she knows about that one.]

Yes, that's right. It's where everything started, I'd say. Speaking of the other SHIKI... you don't have someone like that, do you Mana-chan?

I don't have anyone like that, and mother told me not to worry about it. Sadly I'm perfectly normal as boring as that can be at times.

[She chuckles quietly.]

I wouldn't call it boring, and neither is it a bad thing, you know. This means that you'll be able to grow up and enjoy a simple life, which is much more precious than you'd first imagine. How much have your parents told you about, when they worked for me and handled all these supernatural cases?
