Well, I was going to write about my weekend filled with pictures. But since my internet is down, pictures will have to wait until tomorrow.

But before I go into the fun stuff, I just have to record yesterday's craziness first. I loved my Delta airline flight, but seating next to a baby was just not ideal. Since it was a screamer. For the first three hours or so. So I had NO sleep and sung hallelujah to self when we landed in LA so I could head home and finally get some SLEEP. But along the way, dad felt sick and we had to make some stops til we got home. A bad omen then. So we got home and I ran into the shower so I can SLEEP when my mom yelled at me to hurry cause we had to get dad to the ER. I guessd this was serious business so I got my ass out of the shower and went to the ER half asleep. And it was kind of ridiculous. The nurses asked ME what was the matter, instead of my dad. Apparently, my red eyes from lack of sleep and messy wet hair from shower and disheveled cloths from the rush made me look worse off than my dad--who was in severe pain. But they were helpful enough to take care of the problem and let us out in a couple of hours. All the while I was just thinking if I could sleep at the doctor's lounge or something. I was way too tired to worry about dad lol. It was 4am Eastern time by the time we got out of there. Naturally I couldn't get up this morning in time for work. Thanks to all the craziness from last night.

Ok, rant over, here comes the fun stuff.

Day 1 Thursday: After work, I did some final packing and checking in online before heading to the airport. I wore a sweater since it was going to be cold in NY, but when we landed for my connecting flight in Houston at 5:33am, it was 80 degrees and I thought I'd made a mistake. Fortunately(or unfortunately...) the sweater and giant coat saved my life as I stepped out into La Guardia. Even then, my delicate SoCal body shuddered against the cold and rain while waiting for the Carey bus to arrive. The bus was great, though, and amazingly fast in the rain. So  I ended up in Grand Central Station, where I waited for my friend to finish his midterm so I can head over and crash for the weekend. Bumming around the station was amazingly fun. There were free water from Italy, free espresso from the Venetto exhibit, tons of gift shops and eateries to browse . People watching was fun too. Then I moved into my friend's tiny pigeon hole apartment and went on a private school tour given by the awesome guy and friends. The day ends with me reviewing interview questions and my app in preparation for the next day...
