If you need the money quickly, the Goldenrod Department Store offers the best salary east of Olivine. The Pokémon Centers also pay more than the Pokémarts.

I think so. They're not too far from Ecruteak, though going there every day to work would be impractical.

That might work, but it would means ataying days away from the closest Pokémon Center or Pokémart. They might also not be able to lodge whole travelling groups.
